At long last

Whey hay... finally the shop will be officially open Saturday morning at 9:00am be there or be square.

September is here and the wasps are busy getting drunk on the all the ripe fruit, unfortunately for us our stripey friend can not handle his/her drink and they get aggressive the more drunk they get. Avoid getting stung by catching them in this wasp catcher the perfect place for them to sober up. Now reduced to clear so be sure to get yours quick before they've gone available in two colours. On the move

I've finally made the decision to open a shop yay... so after a while spent searching for the right one I've found one. 
So today I went and paid the deposit and signed the contracts so no going back now.
It needs some work but hopefully, fingers crossed and all that it looks like come Autumn you will be able to buy from the shop as well as online.  I will keep you updated as the work progresses over the next couple of months.

Will Summer Ever Come?

Just when you think its back its gone again... The sun that is!!
But as I made my way home from the annual local village ball on Saturday night /Sunday morning, I can officially tell you the sun was already beginning to rise at 3.30am, what's that I hear tut tut, well it is only once a year now days!! the birds were in full chorus and very beautiful it was to well at least until I was trying to get some sleep ; )

Its been a while since a handbag has come along that I have longed for so much but Mulberry has done it again.

Summers coming

It seems to be getting hotter again yay at last a bit more sunshine... But I'm starting to plan the Autumn/ Winter range there is a definite Nordic feel continuing into next season again very chalet chic it was rather strange placing Christmas orders in May but you know what they say snooze you lose.

The start of a new week

Good morning one and all ... another week begins lets hope its a busy one. My week will be busy one way or another by adding even more new lines onto the website. 
Also on Wednesday, I'm off on a buying trip for part of the new Autumn/Winter range. Arrr shopping my favourite part of my job and one I've trained so many years in to perfect. I will keep you posted on any lovely new things I see and what is going to big next season.

Branding

Yay I have finally agreed with my brilliant graphic designer the logo for Love and Home and I love it. I can't wait to start branding everything.  As we speak (we'll actually type) the whole website is having an overhaul so over the next few weeks we should be ready to launch the new Love and Home brand, exciting stuff.
In the meantime this easter weekend I will be at the beautiful Ragley Hall, Warwickshire for Easter Sunday and Monday so if your around pop in and say hello, I'd love to meet you.

Spring is in the air and I feel the need for a change coming on and so I have decided to throw caution to the wind, well money actually and give the Love and Home an overhaul. I love my stock but I feel its time for a change in other departments so I'm starting with a new logo and website and I'm feeling positive so watch this space 

After a good Christmas I am really looking forward to buying some new lines for www.loveandhome.co.uk, this really is my favourite part of my job. I love looking at all the new lines my suppliers have and choosing ones I know my customers will love too. Then next month I will go to spring Fair to source even more suppliers and more stock. It's a busy time but definitely one I enjoy.
